Functions at Banjo Paterson Cottage
To enable us to offer good food and service to your guests we suggest that groups of 15 and over have a limited menu. Please select your choices from the “Private Room and Groups Menu”.
We have several packages available to you for your group booking. Packages include Canapes, Entree, Main Course, Dessert & Coffee with Petit Fours.
Canapes will be served with drinks in the garden (weather permitting). 15-35 guests may select three choices per course. Over 35 guests may select two choices per course to be served alternately to your guests or airline style (guests have a choice until a choice is no longer available).
Selections will be printed on a special menu for your guests to choose from. All private rooms have a hire fee of 5% on the total bill. To secure you booking a deposit of $10 per person is required.

At Banjo Paterson's we ensure our beautiful setting and our friendly and helpful staff will make your day a special and memorable one.
- Saturday Lunch and Sunday evenings are specifically set aside for functions with exclusive use and have a min spend requirement of $5,000. Menus may be selected from Function menus (exclusive use) in the menus page of the website. Friday and Saturday evenings are available for exclusive use with a min spend requirement of $10,000.
- Alternatively, during our a la carte trading times, smaller functions or wedding receptions may hire a private room. Group packages are available, please contact us for more details.
- We can cater a package to your specific need or you may choose from one of our packages available.
Listed below are the details of each of our rooms. The total capacity for a seated function is 140 guests and for cocktail functions it is 350 guests.
The combined capacity of the Southern Rooms (South Verandha, Bay, East and Centre) is 84 guests. This leaves the West Verandha as a common area for all your guests to gather for formalities, dancing or cake cutting.
All our rooms are fully air conditioned for all year round comfort. Some have open fireplaces for warmth in the cooler months.
This is our largest room which seats up to 54 guests. This room has views overlooking the Parramatta River and can be enclosed for privacy.
This room seat up to 34 people and has views over our gardens and the Parramatta River. It also has access directly to the manicured gardens.
The Bay Room is great for intimate gatherings of up to 12 guests which is ideal for small parties and corporate dinners.
The East Room is another intimate space which can be closed off for corporate or private functions and seats up to 20 guests and has direct access to the lovely landscaped forecourt.
